Ad Club Holiday Party 08' - Fairmont Copley Plaza
The Ad Club held it's annual holiday party at the legendary Fairmont Copley Plaza on Monday night. This was also where I first met the great people of the Ad Club while attending one of their events. 10 Months later, they are one of my favorite clients!
Kathy Kiley, president of the Ad Club, and her main men!
Michael Chandler and Matthew Murphy of Old Town Trolley Tours.

I just can't escape the orange and green!
Debra Piquette and Liza Adams.
Faithful MichaelBlanchard.com reader Beth LaPointe and Jim Adams.
Anand Chopra-McGowan, Melissa Lea and Ross Dobson.

Melissa and Ross just launched Newton Marketing together. Best of luck to you both!

Sarah & Mac - Having a Baby!
Back in October I was asked to photograph a couple on the cusp of having their first child. We ended up spending the afternoon at Lookout Farm in Natick, one of my favorite spots! This was my first maternity shoot buy I really enjoyed it! A few favorites...
I love this one in black and white!
I miss that warm sun, I miss that warm sun!
My favorite!
I can't wait to meet their little guy!
Sarah you're going to be such a great Mom!
Stay tuned for baby photos!

Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids - Crackin' It Up 2008
Just one year ago my friends invited me to Mohegan Sun for their charities first ever Crackin' It Up fund-raiser. A night of fun turned into a year long partnership with an impressive organization. Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids is a non-profit that supports a number of children's causes in the Boston area. Saturday was their second annual Crackin' It Up fund-raiser at Mohegan Sun.
Hits for Kids founders Enza & Kevin Youkilis.
Funny man Mike O'Malley emceed for the night.
Event chairs Cynthia Wachs, Kathy Volpe and Michael Muldowney.
My favorite auction item - Low number license plates!

These are always in abundance at Crackin' It Up!
I've seen this auctioneer before and I am always impressed with his talent. I really wish I could speak as fast as him!
Crackin' It Up is more of a comedy show than anything else.

This years entertainment included a Family Feud style game between the Francona and Youkilis families.
The Feud off was hosted by Nickelodeon hall of famer, Marc Summers.
Carolyn & Mike Youkilis getting their game on.
Terry Francona.
You guessed it, they won!
How do you top a Red Sox Family Feud? ...By calling unsuspecting kids up from the audience!
Remember musical chairs? When the music stops and you're the one with the pie, it goes in your face!

This little guy didn't wait for the music to stop, he just went for it! The crowd was dying...
I can't get over her eyelids here - ha!
None of the kids chickened out either! Way to go!
Anti-aging face mask? No, just whipped cream...
Kevin ended up being the runner up.

Marc Summers then asked the boy if he wanted to throw it at Kevin, or if Kevin could throw it at him...
Bulls-eye!
What a good sport!
Surprise guest artist none other than former Red Sox, Bronson Arroyo.
They rocked out!
Everyone was amazed at his array of enormous talent.

Kelly & Bryan - Married on Columbus Day!
If you have ever worked at a family restaurant before, chances are you probably made a few friends at work. Prior to their professional careers, Kelly and Bryan both waited tables at the infamous Stockyard Steak House in Brighton. Best friends ever since, Kelly and Bryan tied the knot earlier this month in front of their family, friends, and even a few fellow Stockyard alumn!

Bryan gave this card and necklace to Kelly on the morning of their wedding.
Check out this room at Kelly's parents house! Cool paint job huh?
Kelly's makeup provided by her beauty-extraordinaire cousin.
Amanda chose to do her own though!
I love this shot of Kelly right before she left the house!
Amanda and Sandy.

FYI - I met Amanda and Sandy from working at Cabot's! Sandy and Kelly are sisters. Amanda was Kelly's maid of honor.
This is Bryan just before the ceremony began.
Kelly and her dad, waiting for their cue to call!

The pastor who married Kelly and Bryan also happens to be Kelly's uncle!
Limo-no-more! Check out the transportation provided by Old Town Trolley Tours. FUN!!!
A toast on the way to Butternut Farm Golf Club!
Sandy's dad looking relaxed.
I love the tall trees and the orange dresses together!
The band let Kelly's brother Mark play the drums for a few minutes...
Mark scored himself some major points in doing so!

Look how much fun they were having dancing to the band!
Wally seems to spout up everywhere, don't you think?
Thanks so much to Kelly and Bryan for having me at your wedding!

The New Nonantum Boxing Club - Open House
After three years operating out of a local gym, the Nonantum Boxing Club was ready to move out. The club now has a great new space to call their own. Started by a group of friends, the Nonantum Boxing Club offers classes for all age groups and experience levels. At the open house were two boxing icons, State Auditor Joe Denucci and North End legend Tony DeMarco.

With Denucci and DeMarco are the guys who started the boxing club together.

These guys spent a long time getting the club ready for this day and it really came out great! A giant ring is currently on order!

DeMarco and Denucci talked about the importance of community and fitness.

Denucci said without boxing he would not be where he is today.
My first attempt at boxing happened in June when my USMC-trainer told me that I was doing it. Boxing wasn't something I had ever considered, but it didn't take long to realize what an amazing workout and fun sport it is!
I'm looking forward to becoming better at it in the coming months!

The Nonantum Boxing Club is now located at 75 Adams Street in Newton, MA. Classes start at only $20!
